Sirota’s Alchymy is celebrating our 34th Birthday this Month!

Dear Students, Families & Friends of The Alchymy,

This February marks the 34th Anniversary of our Martial Arts Centre known as Sirota’s Alchymy.

Over the past years, we have been blessed to work with thousands of children, youth and adults teaching them martial arts and, more importantly, positive life skills that I hope have carried with each past or present student into their life outside The Alchymy.

In our 34th year, we are about to open our 4th location in East Vancouver where we will continue to uphold high standards in our teachings and the overall operation. Our intention is to facilitate personal empowerment in all members of our society and as we expand and grow we can materialize this important mission.

At its core, Martial Arts is much more then an activity or a sport, it is a lifestyle where the disciple can become physically, psychologically and emotionally empowered.

The Martial Arts Lifestyle allows a child to grow self-confident, enabling them to face and successfully overcome their fears

The Martial Arts Lifestyle helps a child develop self-esteem, allowing them to see and feel their value so they can dream big and work toward achieving their goals.

The Martial Arts Lifestyle helps a child develop resilience and perseverance, teaching them that failure only occurs when they give up, not when they don’t succeed immediately. This indomitable spirit will make them unstoppable.

For Martial Arts to be of greatest value to any practitioner, the mental conversation from an ‘activity’ to a lifestyle is a necessity. This involves commitment, consistent attendance and the ability to overcome the ‘down’ moments in training to see the bigger picture of personal success. If you are a student of the martial arts or a parent of a child attending classes, invest in long term growth and immersion of martial arts to truly benefit from this gift of personal growth and self-empowerment!

In closing, I take this platform to thank all of our staff both past and present who have invested their energy and Heart into each student helping them grow and become empowered members of our society. With their commitment and dedication we continue to facilitate alchymy in All who chose to travel this Journey!
