With Acting Mayor OF Vancouver on the Taekwondo Day Proclamation

“Michael Sirota has great vision and creativity. I am impressed with his paralympic initiatives in Taekwondo in Canada and within the World Taekwondo Federation. I hope that his programs for paralympic athletes are adopted world wide.”
Dr. Terry DeFreitas
Chief Medical Advisor at Taekwondo Canada

“Michael has, for many years, devoted his time and experience to developing opportunities for athletes with an intellectual disability to participate and enjoy the sport of Taekwondo both in North America/Canada but also globally.

As one of two new sports currently invited to bid for inclusion on the Paralympic Games programme in 2020, the sport is making great progress in becoming inclusive of people with disabilities, and Michael has been a key champion of this cause.”
Nick Parr
Executive Director at Virtus (International Sports Federation for athletes with an intellectual impairment)

“Wonderful school, the instructors are awesome, kind and helpful. My two kids love their classes and their teachers, we have been going there for 3 years, twice a week. Great for kids with disabilities too.”
Teresa Puebla

“Sirota’s Alchymy’s in-person and virtual classes are of exceptional high-quality. While all teachers are good, Mr. Park in particular is of exceptional quality.”
Judith Doyle

“Sirota Alchymy is the best place for children to learn martial arts, they learned the values of self respect, focus, perseverance, and self discipline. Instructors are very professional and energetic. Highly recommended.”

“Bringing my son to learn Martial Arts at Sirota’s Alchymy was one of the best things I’ve done for my son. He loves his classes, his instructors, and having Grand Master Michael Sirota instruct the students himself is magnificent. All the instructors have so much to offer to each individual student, as they are all very qualified. Each lesson is tailored to meet your child’s needs. My son started at 12 years old and he’s now 15. His confidence, self-esteem, and overall behavior are for the better. When he first attended his first class (for free), he had a big smile on his face and told me that he loved it and wanted to learn more. My son has become a happier child, he has goals, and he has aspirations to become an instructor himself, among other professions. He has participated in different tournaments and is part of the Demo Team, which he loves. He has taken and is currently taking sparring, also. The Alchymy is a great place to bring your child to learn this wonderful sport. My son is in the special needs program and is learning taekwondo. Grand Master Sirota and the Alchymy are making such a difference in my son’s well-being, his development, and learning in the areas that are crucial for the healthy growth of an adolescent. We highly recommend Sirota’s Alchymy for your martial arts a and life skills needs. We are looking forward to a black belt soon.
